Bookshelf

Printed works shaped by time in the field

The Eagle Country Bookshelf brings together printed works inspired and shaped by time in the field — early mornings, long watches, changing seasons, and the discipline of returning often. These books grow out of real experience: observing closely, staying engaged, and learning by showing up again and again.

Whether through photography or journaling, each volume invites you to take part in the Eagle Country way of life — not just watching, but engaging, recording, and carrying the experience with you beyond the screen.

In The Image: Volume 1

In the Image is a photographic collection drawn from seasons of returning often and observing closely at Eagle Country. These images reflect life as it unfolds — moments of stillness, motion, interaction, and presence — captured without interference or staging.

This volume is intended to be experienced slowly, returning often, allowing each image to speak for itself.

Eagle Country Field Journal

The Eagle Country Field Journal is designed for recording observations, reflections, and moments of attention — whether returning to the live cams or spending time outdoors. Its pages invite patience and presence, offering space to notice patterns, changes, and quiet details that might otherwise pass unseen.

Created to be used repeatedly, returned to often, and shaped by the observer.

Life at Eagle Country is shaped by showing up — in changing weather, across seasons, and over time. These books are part of that rhythm, offering ways to record what you notice, stay engaged through continued practice, and return to familiar moments with greater attention.

Some of the images and moments reflected in these pages are also part of the In the Image Wildlife Photography project, where time in the field is carried forward through still images shaped by return, observation, and experience.
