Live Bald Eagle Cameras — 24/7 Wildlife Viewing

These are real-time, unedited views into a living ecosystem.
What you see here is unscripted, seasonal, and always changing.

Season 8 Update

This season, the nest has become home to a pair of Great Horned Owls, Gus & Willow, rather than bald eagles. This shift is a natural reminder that Eagle Country reflects a living, unmanaged and always changing ecosystem.

Thank you for being part of the Eagle Country community! We wanted to share the latest on what’s happening at the nest this season.

This year’s bald eagle pair, Blaze and Skye, have not been regularly present on the nest. Blaze has not been seen for several months, and Skye was last observed weeks ago before the activity at the site shifted.

In recent weeks, a pair of Great Horned Owls, named Gus and Willow, has taken up residence in the nest area. These owls have been seen regularly on and around the camera views, and on January 11th, 2026, Willow laid an egg, marking a new chapter in the story of this live habitat.

Great Horned Owls often use nests originally built by other birds, and it’s a rare and exciting experience for our community to observe their behavior up close. We’ll continue to share live views as the owlets develop, and we appreciate your ongoing support and care for this stretch of Southwest Florida wilderness and wetlands.

Stay tuned for more live updates, and thanks for watching the adventure unfold here at Eagle Country!

Live Cam FAQ

What is Eagle Country?2026-02-07T00:26:45+05:00

Eagle Country is a long-term wildlife observation project offering live, unedited cameras focused on bald eagles and the surrounding ecosystem. Our cameras quietly document nesting seasons, daily rhythms, and the broader landscape as it unfolds.

Are these cameras live 24/7?2026-02-07T01:54:17+05:00

Yes. Eagle Country’s cameras run continuously, day and night. Activity naturally varies depending on the season, time of day, and wildlife behavior, but the cameras remain live even during quiet moments. Weather, connectivity, maintenance, or platform issues can temporarily interrupt a stream. The EC team works diligently to remedy interruptions quickly to minimize viewing disruptions.

Why don’t I always see eagles on the nest?2026-02-07T01:49:49+05:00

Wildlife follows its own rhythms. Adult birds may leave the nest for extended periods, and during certain seasons the nest may be occupied by other species, or remain empty altogether. Quiet stretches are a normal and healthy part of observing nature in real time.

What species might I see besides eagles?2026-02-08T00:52:53+05:00

In addition to bald eagles, our cameras often capture other wildlife that share the area, including owls, herons, egrets, hawks, squirrels, cattle, and river wildlife such as turtles, alligators and the occasional manatee. These moments offer a broader view of the interconnected ecosystem surrounding the nest.

Why are owls on the nest this season?2026-02-07T01:53:30+05:00

Some seasons bring unexpected residents. When bald eagles are not actively nesting, other species—such as owls—may temporarily use the structure. These moments are part of the natural cycle and are observed without interference. This season the nest is being used by Great Horned Owls (Gus & Willow).

Is Eagle Country a wildlife rescue or intervention project?2026-02-07T01:51:21+05:00

No. Eagle Country is an observation-only project. We do not intervene in wildlife behavior. All scenes reflect natural, unaltered events as they occur.

How can I follow what’s happening if I miss something live?2026-02-07T01:52:49+05:00

For notable milestones and seasonal summaries, visit Season Updates.

For day-to-day observations and timestamps, the Live Bulletin Board provides helpful context shared by the community.

Why don’t you share the exact nest location?2026-02-07T01:50:42+05:00

To protect the birds, we follow U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service guidelines and do not disclose precise nest locations. Respecting privacy helps ensure the safety and well-being of the wildlife observed here.

How is Eagle Country supported?2026-02-07T01:52:00+05:00

Eagle Country continues through the steady support of its community. Some contribute time, some share resources, and many simply return to watch. If you’d like to learn more, you can visit Support Eagle Countryalways shared with gratitude, never obligation.

How do chat and shared viewing work?2026-02-07T01:48:14+05:00

How the Cams Stay Live

Keeping Eagle Country live around the clock takes more than a camera.

Each stream depends on steady power, reliable connectivity, weather-resistant equipment, and ongoing maintenance — all working together, season after season.

The cameras you’re watching are supported by real systems in real conditions. When storms pass through, seasons change, or equipment wears down, those systems are repaired, replaced, and improved so the view can continue uninterrupted.

For those who are curious, we’ve shared the tools and gear we actually use — along with simple ways to help support the stream if you choose.

The Gear Behind the Stream

Many viewers ask how our wildlife livestream stays online continuously.

We’ve gathered the power solutions, networking equipment, and reliability tools that help make Eagle Country possible — the same gear we rely on in the field.

You can explore these items through our Amazon storefront, where purchases may help support the ongoing operation of the cams.

Eagle Country Apparel

Some members of the Eagle Country community choose to support the cams by wearing them.

A small collection of Eagle Country apparel is available for those who enjoy carrying a piece of this place with them beyond the screen.

Direct Support

Some viewers choose to support Eagle Country directly.

These contributions help cover essential needs like equipment upkeep, connectivity, and the behind-the-scenes work required to keep the cams running continuously.

There is never an expectation to give — simply watching, sharing, and being part of the EC community matters. For those who choose to support in this way, thank you for helping keep this place live.
