Why We Use a Live Bulletin Board
In a 24/7 cam environment, important moments can happen at any time. The Live Bulletin Board allows our community to stay informed, connected, and grounded in what’s happening at the nest with live eagle cam updates — whether watching live or catching up later.

**Season 8 Update**
Thank you for being part of the Eagle Country community! We wanted to share the latest on what’s happening at the nest this season. This year’s bald eagle pair, Blaze and Skye, have not been regularly present on the nest. Blaze has not been seen for several months, and Skye was last observed weeks ago before the camera transitioned to other activity at the site.
Top – Willow, Middle – Gus & Willow, Bottom – Gus
In recent weeks, a pair of Great Horned Owls, named Gus and Willow, has taken up residence in the nest area. These owls have been seen regularly on and around the camera views, and on January 11th, 2026, Willow laid an egg, marking a new chapter in the story of this live habitat.
Great Horned Owls often use nests originally built by other birds, and it’s a rare and exciting experience for our community to observe their behavior up close. We’ll continue to share live views as the owlets develop, and we appreciate your ongoing support and care for this stretch of Southwest Florida wilderness. Stay tuned for more live updates, and thanks for watching the adventure unfold here at Eagle Country!
